Embodying the Light: One-Day Intensive Retreat

Saturday, September 18th

The Experience - Set aside a day to focus on the practices that lead us to a visionary and expansive relationship to life! Together let’s develop the skills we need to do less and accomplish more. Yoga is a means for realizing the hidden potential in each moment.

This intensive will be a blending of dynamic practice and self-study. We will use our time together to clarify the relationship between what we love, what we believe in, and what we do.

The Intensive Retreat will include: two intensive vinyasa sessions, alignment instruction, pranayama (breath work), meditation, as well as a period of training and practice in creating the future we want to live into.

Being Still with Skill: Meditation Workshop
Sunday, September 19, 9:00am - 12:00pm

"... And this is the point of spiritual practice; to make us teachable, to open up our hearts and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are."   - Rolf Gates

Yoga is the cultivation of inner space and the ability to use it well. In this meditation workshop, we will explore the opportunity presented to us in the teachings of the Buddha and Patanjali and how these great contributions to consciousness weave beautifully together to enhance the quality of our daily lives. The morning will be spent in lecture, discussion and guided meditation experience.

3-Hour Vinyasa Session
Sunday, September 19, 2:00pm - 5:00pm

"The obstacles in our path are the path. We all know more than we think we do, and we are stronger than we believe ourselves to be. We come to our mats, and to our lives, to learn by going where we have to go."   -  Rolf Gates

Join Rolf for this dynamic 3-hour session blending Vinyasa, Pranayama and Meditation. This practice is intentionally challenging but open to all who wish to explore yoga as an evolutionary journey. The only “requirement” is that you show up, do your best, and let your best be good enough. Plan to flow deeply into this session and bring your towel.
